A training program on biochar production conducted by LOAM was held on 30.04.2025 at the LOADI Grove Agro Ecological Training Center, Mattegoda.
The resource contribution to this training program was provided by Mr. Jacob, Director of Silver Bullet Biochar. This training program was attended by 28 representatives of farmer organizations affiliated with LOAM and 35 people including LOAM officers received training.
This training provided theoretical and practical training on biochar production, bio-powering and utilization.
For this purpose LOAM Chairman Mr. Thilak Kariyawasam, Special Projects Director Mr. Ajantha Palihawadana, Senior Program Coordinator Mr. Fasly Mohamed, Assistant Project Manager Mrs. Dhanusha Jayatissa, Technical Advisor Mr. Rasika Kumarage, Training Officer Mr. Indika Sampath, Field Officer Mr. Richard Francis & Media consultant Mr. Kalyananda Perera joined the program.
