The “Smallholder Rubber Plantation Resilience and Rubber Value Chain Enhancement Project” a collaborative initiative between the Lanka Organic Agriculture Movement and KSAPA, Michelin Lanka, is currently being successfully implemented.
This project includes training programs focused on rubber intercropping and home gardening cultivation, aiming to promote rubber cultivation in non-traditional rubber-growing regions such as Monaragala and Ampara districts.
Concurrently, under the RIVER project and with financial support from the AFC, qualified growers are receiving coffee and cocoa plants.
Follow-up inspections are also being conducted to monitor the progress of these coffee and cocoa cultivations. Below is a summary of the programs conducted in various areas from 2026.02.09 to 2026.02.15.
