A field visit was conducted by the Lanka Organic Agriculture Movement (LOAM) on 20 August 2026 to monitor groups engaged in animal husbandry farming and entrepreneurship in Malapalla, Kahatuduwa, Veniwelkola, and Mattegoda.
The objectives of the visit included monitoring and following up on animal husbandry management activities, identifying challenges faced by entrepreneurs, providing technical and advisory support, strengthening networking and market linkages, and reviewing the progress of the groups.
The visit was attended by LOAM representatives, Special Project Director Ajanta Palihawadana and Assistant Project Manager Danusha Jayathissa.
