A basic awareness programme for farmers was held at the Koggala Farmers’ Service Centre in Habaraduwa on August 18. A total of 35 farmers participated in the programme, including the Regional Farmer Development Officer, Agricultural Advisor, Agricultural Research and Production Assistant Officers, and representatives of farmer organizations. Coordinator Mr. Samantha Weligamage also participated in the programme.
