The “Rubber improvement of value chain & Embedded smallholders resilience project (RIVER)” jointly implemented by the Lanka Organic Agricultural Movement and KSAPA, Michelin Lanka is currently being successfully implemented.
Through it, training programs on rubber intercropping and home gardening are being conducted to popularize rubber cultivation in non-traditional rubber growing areas (Monaragala and Ampara districts).
In parallel, a program is being conducted to provide plants (coffee and cocoa) to qualified coffee growers under the RIVER project with the financial support of the AFC. Accordingly, the summary of the programs held from 2026.01.05 to 2026.01.11 is as follows.
