The first Asia Regional Gathering on Phasing out of Fossil Fuel and Agrochemicals (RGPFA – ASIA 2025) Dialogue and Strategic Planning Workshop was successfully held over three days on March 4, 5 and 6 at the Carolina Hotel, Chilaw. It was organized by FIAN Sri Lanka and Lanka Organic Agricultural Movement.

LOAM was able to organize a series of meetings in collaboration with the Homagama Divisional Secretariat to introduce organic agriculture and home gardening to the community. Accordingly, a trio of awareness programs were successfully held for the Elders’ Association on January 31st, the Women’s Association on February 5th, and the Pre-School Teachers on February 13th.

The inaugural meeting for distribution of coffee plants organized by Lanka Organic Agricultural Movement (LOAM) was held on 01-03-2025 at Polgahapitiya Temple, Monaragala.
