The Fruit Cultivation Field Day held yesterday (13) at the Ahangama Collective Farm in Galle was successfully conducted.
The event was attended by the Southern Provincial Director of Agriculture, Agricultural Advisor, Economic Development Officer, Agricultural Officer, and more than 80 farmers.
Harvesting of the passion fruit plants provided to the collective farms has now commenced. These passion fruit plants were supplied by the Lanka Organic Agriculture Movement (#loam).
The programme was conducted with the support of #misereor.
